I work in Lugano at SUPSI, the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland, in a multidisciplinary team of researchers (the ARM Lab) who designs and builds industrial machines from the ground up. My research interests include:
- Machine learning for human-robot interaction
- Kinematics and motion planning for robotics and automation
- Numerical and surrogate modeling of laser processes (LMD and pulsed laser ablation)
- Process quality control for Additive Manufacturing
- Health care and biomedical data analysis
- Computational statistics
